Dale Soos

A memorial service for Dale R. Soos, a Williamsville teacher, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main St.

Soos, 46, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Thursday (Nov. 26, 1992) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Town of Tonawanda, after a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, he was raised in the Town of Tonawanda. He had bachelor's and master's degrees from Buffalo State College.

Soos taught technical education at Williamsville North High School.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Williamsville Teachers Association, New York State United Teachers, Green Valley and Edgewater Homeowners associations, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Elks Club Amherst Lodge.

Soos was active in the Boy Scouts. His hobbies included model trains, woodworking, drawing and sports.

Survivors include his wife, the former Linda Caton; two sons, Dale W. and Derek, and his parents, Theodore J. and Dorothy M. Soos, all of the Town of Tonawanda. {H/Davis}.

i'm so sorry to hear that dale has passed away! i know that i'm finding this very late after the fact,but the class of 1964 website has updated me on much info that has happened that i wouldn't have known otherwise. please accept my condolense.    RESPECTFULLY  TOM DEWEY

I knew Dale from kindergarten though senior high. We played football on the same teams for five years. He was a gentleman and it was my honor to know him. My respects to his family. Joe Tripi
