I write this with a sad heart. Barb, Jan Vullo, and Beverly Bernd were instrumental in coercing a number of us to participate in the senior show on that infamous day, November 22, 1963. "West High Story" had an opening act by a bunch of non-dancers ( myself included) trying to look coordinated and keeping up with the Broadway Show's theme music. We practiced hard for weeks and Barb, Jan, and Bev were more than patient with us.
While Barb was not a close friend we knew each other for years as her house was almost next door to Kenmore Junior High; ergo a flopping place after school. She was witty and personable and one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met.
Rest in peace, old friend. Rest in peace.

Barb was such a beautiful person and a wonderful friend. RIP. So hard to see someone leave at such a young age.

You were so talented and beautiful. Taken to soon. Much love.
Janice Vullo (Maurizi)
Barb was such a beautiful person inside and out. I was so shy and introverted and she was so beautiful and popular yet she always had time for me. We spent many hours together at the dance studio and rehearsing for shows. After all these years I still think of her often.

Barb was such a wonderful person - beautiful both inside and out. I can't believe that we both started dancing with Mrs. Stuhlmiller at her studio on Delaware. Barb went on to perfect her tremendous talent and was just starting to follow her dream. You were taken from us much too early. You have been missed!! Rest in peace.
