Sharon Gettinger (Murphy)
Maureen (Mo) was one of my best friends from CYO at St. Paul's, HS, and up to her dying days in a Rochester Hospital. We went through a lot together. She helped me after my husband died in 2003. Kept me busy and she was the best. My daughter's admired her. She helped Paul and I plan their weddings, showers, baby showers. RIP my dear buddy - see you someday again. Sharon Gettinger Murphy

Maureen was a great person to know. She could make you laugh when you wanted to cry. In recent years, I was pleased to re-connect with her and we took some classes together. We always had a great time. Maureen was a kind, generous soul and is sorely missed by many.

Maureen was one person I kept in touch with over the years. After our kids were grown Sharon (Murphy), Maureen and I met once a week for dinner for many years. The last few years Louise Jankowski joined us. We had a card club and bowled together. We worked at the same company for a few years until I took retirement at age 55. Too bad a person with such a good heart had to have a bad heart.
