Bill was a kind and polite young man in high school. I thought of him often over the years and the dirty trick my sister played on him. He had called to ask me to the Jr. Prom, but he got my sister on the phone, and pretending she was me, she accepted. Needless to say I never knew of this, and she had a wild crush on him. The surprise on his face and on mine the night he showed at the door was hysterical....but being a gentleman, he took her. I would have kicked her!!.....Rest in Peace, my dear friend, and thank you for your sense of humor Bill......xo

I don't honestly remember Bill from high school but he and his brother became good friends of mine after June 1964.
I have a fond memory of Bill in 1968. He and Tom Lippard and I went on "spring break" to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami where we managed to get into a fair amount of trouble. Two items are vivid. We all went to the dog races ( Spanish was the primary language there) and never won a single wager. But the crowning event was the day we walked into the Fountainebleau in our t-shirts and cut-offs on the evening when all the celebs were there to attend a Frank Sinatra concert. Minks, Ermines, and cut-offs.
RIP my friend.

Bill was my partner in crime. We frequently went pool hopping in his Deerhurst neighborhood. The rest I'll have to keep to myself so Bill doesn't get tossed out of heaven. He was a good friend to all who knew him.
