I only knew Ruth to say hi to in school. Her son, Tom, is now my son-in-law. Tom married my daughter, Michele Murphy-Reeves. They both have three children and Tom has joint custody of his. They are called the Brady bunch. Such a wonderful man Tom is. He is principal of the Newfane Middle School, his sister Cindy is an Engish Teacher at Clarence HS and Ruth's husband is still living in their home in Tonawanda. She would have been so proud of all of them and her grandchildren are so special. I wish I had gotten to know Ruth better. Her family is wonderful and she is greatly missed by them. RIP Ruth. I have had occasion to think of Ruth Kriz every day on my birthday. Because my birthday is May 2, hers May 3 we always made a joke of the fact that we might have been twins separated at birth. I knew her all through school and though lost touch after high school always did, and will, wish her a happy birthday every May 3, wherever she may be.
