Andrea and her family lived next door to us on Westgate from the time we moved in when I went to Ken Middle
Andrea and I along with the Cardino twins and Jan Whitney walked to school together everyday then went to Watson's after school for french fries and gravy
The Dinino and Laporte family had many family gatherings until we all took our separate ways.
Rest in Peace Andrea

Andrea and I re-connected at our 50th class reunion. After that, we stayed in touch. Even through her very difficult health challenges, she always remained positive, optimistic, never complaining about the lousy hand she had been dealt.
I have so many fun memories of times with Andrea. A group of us, including Diana Gorski, watched the 1st US performance of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show at her house. Many a Saturday night, a group would drive to Grand Island with fake ID and try to get into some of the bars, often successfully.
I will miss our holiday and birthday phone calls. Andrea lived a happy and complete life with her loving husband and children. Rest in eternal peace, dear friend❣️

I was very sad to hear of Andrea's passing. She was such a sweet and fun person with whom I shared many good times in high school. I am so glad we got to visit at the 50th reunion.
