It's funny how some people keep weaving in and out of your life. Joe was one of those for me. He and I worked together at the 107th Fighter Interceptor Group in Niagara Falls as Aircraft Mechanics, from 1969 until he left for the Civilan Sector around 1976. We lost track until he rejoined the unit again in the early 1990's as an Air National Guardsmen. He stayed a few years before heading to the Tucson AZ Air National Guard and a full time Technician position. After retiring from the military, he moved to St Joseph MO where was enjoying life. We kept in touch and would always exchange some snark on our birthdays, as I never let Joe forget he was 28 days older than me. RIP and Fairwinds my friend....
