John Joseph McCarthy Age 59. President and CEO of HMSHOST, the leading provider of food, beverage and retail concessions in over 200 travel and entertainment venues in nine countries, died Friday, November 4, 2005 in Ocala, FL. A native of Buffalo, NY, he moved to Ocala in 1988 from Santa Monica, CA. He was Roman Catholic and a member of the Florida Thoroughbred Horse Breeders Association. Mr. McCarthy celebrated over 30 years of service in 1974 with HMSHOST, serving in many executive positions. Prior to his career with HMSHOST, he was associated with the Dunfey Family Corporation. He is survived by his wife Carol; sister and brother Patricia Mead  and Robert McCarthy , both of Kenmore, NY.
