Age 75, of Williamsville, New York, May 10, 2022. Beloved husband of 47 years to Shirley (Emerling) Niedermeyer; dear father of John Niedermeyer; brother of Priscilla (David) Hammond. Family and friends may call Monday, May 16, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, New York (1 mile north of Maple just past Klein Rd.). Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's School for the Deaf, 2253 Main St., Buffalo, New York 14214, where Rick taught for many years. He was a longtime member of the St. Greg's golf and bowling leagues and a member of the Amherst Lions Club.
